Fernhaven is a cyanotype dreamscape where a small house rests gently on a drifting cloud, sheltered by soft ferns glistening in the moonlight—an imagined refuge suspended between earth and sky.
Part of my Home Is Wherever You Imagine It series, this work was created using sunlight, chemistry, and imagination, allowing chance and intention to meet in deep blue tones and warm, glowing detail.

How Cyanotypes Are Made
Cyanotypes are created by coating paper with light-sensitive chemistry and exposing it to sunlight. After exposure, the print is washed in water, revealing rich blue tones shaped by light, time, and chance. Each cyanotype is unique.
